The draw for the 2018 ATP 1000 BNP Paribas Open has been announced.
Five-times champion and 10th seed Novak Djokovic, who will be returing back to the tour for the first time since a medical intervention on his right elbow in early February, has a round one BYE and will face a Qualifier in the second round.
His potential route to a sixth title in Indian Wells:

- R4: Juan Martin del Potro/David Ferrer
- QFs: Marin Cilic/John Isner
- SFs: Alex Zverev/Jack Sock
- Finals: Roger Federer/Grigor Dimitrov/Dominic Thiem
This will be Novak’s 13th appearance at the Indian Wells. He holds a 49-7 W/L record at the Californian desert.
90 Points to defend: Last year, Novak lost to Nick Kyrgios in the fourth round and this year he will be defending only 90 points.
