2018 Monte Carlo Masters Draw Announced; Novak faces Qualifier in R1

The draw for the ATP 1000 Rolex Monte Carlo Masters was announced on Saturday.

Novak Djokovic, the No.9 seed, will face a Qualifier in the opening round.

Novak’s potential path to the title:

– R1: Qualifier
– R2: Coric/Benneteau
– R3: Thiem
– QF: Nadal
– SF: Goffin/Dimitrov
– F: Cilic/Pouille/A. Zverev/Carreno Busta

Djokovic is a two-times champion at the Monte Carlo (2013 & 2015). This is his 12th appearance at the tournament, where he holds a 30-9 Win-loss record. Last year, Novak lost to David Goffin in three tight sets in the quarterfinals.
